Our programs are rooted in Kisoro District—a biodiversity and cultural hub—but extend across Uganda, ensuring that local solutions inspire national transformation.

Conservation Initiatives

We safeguard Uganda's rich biodiversity and promote sustainable use of natural resources.

Our Activities:

  • Wildlife habitat protection in gorilla ranges and forest corridors
  • Soil erosion prevention through terracing, agroforestry, and bamboo planting
  • Community-led reforestation with indigenous species
  • Cultural conservation integrating traditional practices with modern sustainability
  • Tourism promotion for eco-tourism and cultural tourism benefits
  • Water body protection (Lake Mutanda, wetlands) to reduce silting and pollution

  • Advocacy for rights to education, health, food security, housing, and safe workplaces
  • Promotion of healthy lifestyles: smoking cessation, reduced alcohol intake, nutrition, physical activity
  • Disaster preparedness and relief access for volcanic and flood-prone communities
